How the battle starts

  • Battle on Oil Rig is a PVP event from the creators of Battle on the Sphere
  • On any main server, a player starts registration with /pvp
  • Players can start a new Battle on Oil Rig registration once per hour
  • After start, all servers have 5 minutes to join with the same /pvp command
  • If a battle is already running, /pvp joins you to the active fight
  • Running /pvp again before start removes you from participation
  • If fewer than 2 players join within 5 minutes, the battle is cancelled

Entry conditions

  • To start or join, you need at least 5 of each unique component: Sticks, Duct tape and Batteries
  • Components are not deducted on entry: one random component is lost only when another player kills you
  • You cannot participate if a known teammate is already in the current battle
  • When registration ends, the server transfers participants to a separate battle server
  • You cannot join the battle server directly: entry only works through /pvp
  • On the battle server, team limit is 0

How the fight works

  • Players spawn on Oil Rig with full health and random equipment
  • A player may stay in the battle until leaving or running out of unique components
  • Each player-caused death takes one random unique component from the victim's last main server
  • If the selected component is gone, the server takes another available component
  • The killer receives that component on their last main server
  • When a player runs out of unique components, they are returned to the main server and shown their win/loss result

Scoreboard

  • On the battle server, the top-right HUD shows TOP 10 by kills over the last 30 minutes
  • The site shows current battle-server online and the latest battle summary
